SIR Supports Rotary First Harvest

Food for the Hungry - Our club supports Rotary First Harvest by purchasing gift certificates for our club speakers.  We occasionally participate in the hands-on food packing events which occur on the second Saturday of every month.  This is a great way to have a tangible impact on our community, as well as the opportunity to spend time with Rotarians from clubs around the Seattle / King County area. 

Since its founding in 1982, Rotary First Harvest (RFH) has collected and distributed over 100 million pounds of produce. RFH acts as a conduit between farmers and the programs that serve hungry individuals and families in our region.

Our club is also a leading club in the District for member financial support through sustaining contributions.
